The following are the most frequently asked questions we receive about ordering, configuring and using Email2Phone.

Can I set up my email2phone.net service so that specific email messages are delivered to specific phones?
Yes. Using the Filters tool you can set up the delivery rules for each email message. The delivery rules are based on the text in the subject heading, as well as the text in the body of the email message. Example: Using the filter, you can ensure that business messages are routed to your business phone and personal messages are routed to your personal phone.
Can I access my current email service (AOL, Yahoo, Gmail, etc.) emails using email2phone.net?
Yes, once you set up your email2phone.net account and log in to email2phone.net, you can go to the Configuration/Mailboxes tab and set up a specific mailbox for each email service. When you dial into email2phone.net you can select the specific mailbox and listen to any unopened emails. The emails are also placed in your inbox and can be saved or replied to.
Can email2phone.net call me on more than one phone number?
Yes, you can utilize multiple phone numbers. email2phone.net gives you the choice of either sequential or simultaneous dialing. Filters can also be set up to direct specific emails to specific phones.
Will email2phone.net play any type of email attachment?
email2phone.net will indicate that an email has an attachment, but will only play attachments that are .WAV files.
How do I reply to an email2phone.net message that is delivered to my phone?
After the message plays you will be presented with the option to send a reply to the sender. In order to reply, wait for the prompt and speak your reply into the phone. email2phone.net records the reply, which is saved as .WAV file. The original sender receives a notification email indicating that you have replied to their message and a link where the recording is stored. The original sender can then click on that link to download the .WAV file and listen to your reply.
How am I billed for my email2phone.net service?
Your credit card will be billed at the beginning of the month for the plan that you are on i.e. $10.00 per month for the basic plan. If your total call time exceeds 40 minutes, your credit card will be billed the additional call time at the end of the month.
How do I avoid receiving SPAM emails on my email2phone.net service?

email2phone.net takes spam very seriously. There are two levels of SPAM prevention at email2phone.net:

  • First, if selected by the user, every email is filtered through a SPAM filtering process. If the email fails the filter criteria it is designated as SPAM and placed in the user’s online Message History file in a folder marked ‘SPAM’.
  • Second, the user can also set-up custom filters as part of your email2phone.net profile. Your custom email2phone.net filters use keywords that you can apply to the sender’s name, the message subject, or the body of the email.
Where do I get my access pin number to identify my account when I call in?
Your six digit email2phone.net Phone Pin Number will be generated and appear in your account profile when you complete the sign-up process. It is also available when you log into email2phone.net. Be sure to write it down.
